ASA Nationals- Sparks Black notched a 2-2 record in elimination play at Midland, Texas to earn a 33rd Place Nationals finish.
Sparks 8, NC Triangle Lightning 6- Following four strong innings on the mound by Taylor Steinhilber, Amanda Oberc came on to close things out for the Sparks, while the offense was ignited by Kelly Sheridan and Michelle Tramatola.
Sparks 4, SoCal Synergy 3- Key hits by India Steward, Kelly Sheridan and Michelle Tramatola backed the strong pitching performance of Amanda Oberc for the victory.
SoCal Storm 5, Sparks 0- The Sparks trailed just 1-0 before back-to-back fifth-inning home runs broke things open. India Steward ripped a double in the losing effort, while Kelly Sheridan and Ellie Bartosz notched singles. The Sparks open double-elimination play on Wednesday, taking on the winner of the SoCal Hurricanes and Arizona Pride at 3 p.m.
Odessa (Texas) Angels 5, Sparks 4- Kelly Sheridan cracked a three-run homer in the seventh to pull the Sparks to within one run after an early 5-0 deficit. Kelly Engwall and Kaley Jendreszak also contributed key hits in the rally. Alex Diveria was 3-for-3, Michelle Tramatola went 2-for-3 and Indian Steward made a super diving catch in center field to save two runs.

July 5- Sparks Black captured a seventh-place tie in the ASA Chicago Metro Tournament.
Sparks Black is one of (all) six Sparks teams to earn a bid to the ASA National Tournament. The 14-under ASA National Tournament will be held in Midland, Texas on July 27-August 3.
